rainy nights are the hardest times for a doctor like him, who is not allowed to have dreams during these hours of solitude and darkness. He walks through the empty corridors of his clinic, listening to the sound of raindrops on the roof, feeling like he's all alone in this world.
In those moments, he wonders if there's anyone else out there who understands what he goes through every night - a man with no dreams and no hopes for himself.
The loneliness is overwhelming at times, but it also gives him strength and motivation to keep going.
He knows that someone has to be there for others when they need help most - even if that means sacrificing his own happiness.
So he keeps pushing forward, one patient at a time, never allowing himself to get lost in his own thoughts or feelings of despair.
And yet... sometimes late at night when everything is quiet...
he allows himself just one moment of weakness...
and thinks about what could have been...
if only...
but then reality hits him hard:
he can't afford any distractions,
no matter how much he may want them.
His duty as a doctor comes first,
and so does his responsibility towards those who rely on him.
No matter how difficult it gets,
he will continue doing what needs to be done,
even if it kills him inside;
for now and forever more,
his life belongs solely to others,
not even an inch reserved for personal desires.
This realization brings back tears into my eyes; I am reminded once again why I am here: not just as an ordinary human being seeking happiness but as an instrument designed by fate itself!
I close my eyes tightly shut;
the weight from my shoulders becomes lighter;
the pain subsides slowly until nothing remains except pure determination burning within me!
